Robyn Rihanna Fenty, also known as Rihanna is a Barbadian singer-songwriter who gave us hit songs such as Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Being a young and accomplished singer and songwriter, she's already one of the top selling performers. Born in Barbados and had a childhood filled with reggae. When she began to sing, she turned into professional. As a way to get away from the tensions within her family along with the constant arguments between her parents She began singing. In high school, she started a group of musicians and had the opportunity to meet music producer Evan Rodgers. He was impressed with her talent. The producer asked her to relocate to New York in order to take on a full-time job as a singer which she readily accepted. Her debut album quickly was a huge success and she was called the next big thing in music. Rihanna was loved by youngsters for her uplifting dance music, which was a hit. This led to Rihanna taking up directing. Young and talented, she is today regarded as a teen idol and a model. Rihanna put her celebrity to good use by being actively engaged in a variety of charitable causes
