Bella Poarch's biological Filipino parents had her in the Philippines, on February 9 in 1997. The girl was adopted at the age of 3 by her grandmother, living in slums. Her adoptive family is made by an Filipino adoptive mom and white American army veteran. She claims that her adoptive brother and she were abused from when they were children before she joined the military. To move to Texas, when she turned 13her family stayed for many months living in San Francisco to stay with her aunt. She says the physical violence stopped after a short time, but that she continued to deal with emotional abuse from her father. When she was 18, Poarch enlisted into the United States Navy. Poarch was the first to join TikTok in April 2020, which quickly gained traction. She amassed over 40 million followers in less that 8 months. The account was home to a variety of videos. But her most enduring hit is a music video featuring MillieB's famous hit track Soph Aspin Send. The video that zoomed included her lip-syncing as well as jumping to the music in a rhythmic to the song, became viral. When she joined TikTok Poarch created her own YouTube account, as well as an Twitter one to maximize the fame of her. The popularity of Poarch grew exponentially in November in 2020. Two of the biggest Esports professional clubs were reportedly intrigued by her. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves wanted to hire her to write videos for their respective brands.
